Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on the 1st of October, 1995, at Berkeley, California, USA. She is most famous for her acting who has appeared as a character in Choices (2011), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004) and Chrissie Mair's Content House.
Asia Argento is an Italian actress and film director who came from a large family of both. She's pursued the two careers for her own. Aged nine she made her feature film debut alongside Sergio Citti in Sogni e bisogni. She played the leading role in Cristina Comencini's Zoo (1988) and also appeared as a part of Michele Savi's 1989 feature film The Church. In 1989 she portrayed Nanni Moretti's baby in Red Wood Pigeon. (Also directed by Moretti). Close Friends (1992) by Michele Placido (both writer and director) is where Asia really began to begin to take off. This let her progress beyond the role of cute girls into more complex, mature character. This movie received a positive review in the Cannes International Film Festival. For Trauma (1993) the actress worked for the first time with her father, famed Italian horror director Dario Argento (her mother is one of his favorite actors, Daria Nicolodi, playing an overweight girl who is in search of her parents' murderer. The Phantom of the Opera was her third film alongside her dad, the other two being Trauma, as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. The actress's deep, absorbing acting style was well utilized in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze. Patrice Chereau was the director. Queen Margot. The actress had an international role. The actress was again a part of Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion in 1995, giving her a second David di Donatello, as and the title Grolla D'oro. Asia took up directing as a career in 1994. Her debut short film was Prospettive. The documentary she made about her dad and then Abel/Asia (1998), a film which won an award in the Rome Film Festival and was both directed from 1996 to 1998. Asia began her directorial debut as a feature-length film in 1999, with Scarlet Diva (2000). She was also the main actress, and the author of the film's script. In May 2000, the film was made available both in Italy and across the world. The film won awards during the Williamsburg Festival of Brooklyn, New York. After directing numerous music videos the actress gave birth to her first daughter, Anna Lou. In 2002, she starred as Jean-Marc Barr's co-star The Red Siren (Olivier Megaton) and Vin Diesel was the star of Rob Cohen's thriller action The Action. Asian's short stories have been published in some of the most prestigious magazines.
